The grand plan still involves getting a puppy at some point. Until logistics work out in our favor, we have to bide our time. Until then, the Internet is doing its best to satisfy the we-want-a-dog feeling.
As a result, I do things like this.
Hey guys, I’m still a few dollars short of my fundraising goal for this weekend’s Step Out event and I’d love to meet it. Sure, there would be an added benefit of beating some of my co-workers and teammates in fundraising, but it’s all about the mission.
If you’ve got the time and the funds, hop on over to my Step Out page and toss a few bucks my way. I appreciate your consideration especially as times continue to remain tough.
I was sick over the weekend. Quite sick. Thankfully Dayle was willing to put up with my excessive sneezing and nose blowing through most of Saturday and I made a somewhat full recovery by the time I had to go to work in the morning. During my bout with the sniffles I spent most of the time on the couch sleeping, watching Modern Family or watching puppy videos on YouTube. Just as MySpace was designed for 15 year old girls to take pouty, slanted pictures of themselves in mirrors, it is my firm belief that YouTube’s primary objective is the proliferation of puppy videos.
I spent so much time watching clips I came up with my Top 3 Puppy Video categories.
I didn’t have anything of substance to comment on here, or Facebook, or Twitter really. Sure, there’s stuff to talk about, but none of it really excited me to the point of saying anything. So here’s a video of a puppy playing in a mirror.
Brace yourself for cute overload.
