Each year Dayle and I have put an ornament to represent our year together on our tree. The first one was a cupcake and a duck. Last year was a cardinal (for the bird feeder). This year we wanted something to feature the kittens. We found this ornament at a Hallmark store but we aren’t sure which picture to use.
I’m sure they envisioned this space being used for kittens
We need your input. Which picture do you like the best?
Why deal with crazy shoppers when there’s a kitten around?
Dayle and Erni
Today is no D Day, as decreed by the West Coast Ninjabetic. There’s even a fancy graphic to go with it.
I’m sure most of you are thinking I’ll just post something about our cats.
It’s all fun and games until one of your kittens knocks something over in the bathroom at 2 in the morning causing you to jump out of bed to investigate and said investigation results in you running into the door frame with your Dexcom sensor, conveniently plugged in to your arm.
You break it, you bought it?
Sleeping in is an incredible feeling. Some weekends I’ll wake up around an “appropriate” time and get all kinds of tasks done. Other times I turn off as many electronic devices as I can and hide under my pillows for as long as possible. After this past weekend, it would appear that sleeping in will officially become an endangered resource, thanks to the kittens. We’ve given them full access to the condo, and this includes our bed. Most of the time they just play under the frame but every now and then I’ll feel little paws on my feet. Sometimes this meant ‘I want to play’, other times it meant ‘I’m hungry’, and there were even a few ‘I want to cuddle’ moments over the weekend. From this I can reach two (2) conclusions:
- I don’t speak cat.
- Our kittens are awesome.
Here are some other notes from the three day weekend.
