Instead of “typical” Valentine’s gifts, this year Dayle and I are getting each other records to start our collection. I’ve been on a jazz kick over the past few months and this appears to be the culmination of that particular auditory obsession.

To start the fun, I explored a local vinyl shop and picked up this Thelonious Monk record. My ears approve.
