Tonight concludes a whirlwind, multi-weekend adventure of family visiting from out of town.

As awesome as it was to see everyone, it does shine a spotlight on the fact that our families are 3,000 miles away. Things like Skype and Google Hangouts are great for staying connected, but there isn’t much out there that can beat a solid hug (or fist-bump in my dad’s case).
