My path to healthier habits is slow, but steady. My examples of progress may not look like much to you, but to me, I’m moving mountains.
Actually keeping to that “apple a day” mantra means I’m having at least one fruit serving a day, and I’m eating more than oranges. Again, this might not seem like a lot to you, but it’s a big deal for me.
And here we have my attempt at making halibut. I say attempt because I didn’t exactly stick to this recipe I found, but the food came out edible – progress, right?
Eating “fish” for me usually means salmon. But there’s plenty of fish in the sea, and plenty of opportunities to try something new. I’m not going to devour every menu in existence, but if I can feel slightly more comfortable with something new every day (or at least every week), I know I’m doing right by body, and my diabetes.
