It might be tacky to talk about what my insurance covers and doesn’t cover given the reality of the situation, but this isn’t meant to be particularly celebratory.
I’m glad this stuff gets covered. Dexcom’s G4 is well beyond a nice-to-have. It’s an essential piece of my diabetes management. I don’t know where I’d be without this thing.
And 12 sensors in nearly 8 months is a mighty fine ratio. Hopefully Round 2 will be up to the task.
For real! I feel ridiculously lucky to have my Dexcom covered by insurance, and wish there was something to do for d-friends I have that can’t even get pumps because their insurance won’t pay for it (or else they don’t have insurance at all. That is the scariest notion I can imagine.)

P.S. Can I just say, your pics remind me of Vin Diesel?

You’re not alone in that thought. Admittedly, I do play it up a bit with the sun glasses and (not my real) stoic demeanor.

I am averaging a little more than double life on my sensors, but you are just about at triple life. Impressive.
