Yes, everyone is excited about Dexcom’s G4. But even as technology improves, the mental hurdles that come with wearing a CGM will still exist.
This isn’t exactly ‘be careful what you wish for’ territory, but I would caution everyone to remember that greater accuracy can have its drawbacks, even if they aren’t immediately apparent or documented. Because nothing beats a more accurate reminder that I don’t know what I’m doing with my diabetes management.
