Fragmented

I can’t focus on anything right now so here are some fragmented thoughts typed out for your reading pleasure.

I watch one puppy video on YouTube and every single google ad for the rest of the day is either for a humane society or dog food or something else canine related. Lesson learned.

I decided to join the Draw Something crowd (spartacusami) and quickly learned that I have zero artistic ability. It’s an entertaining way to fill a few minutes of the day though.

I’ve also questioned the value of funneling tweets into a Facebook feed. Even if I’m promoting the same link, like a recent episode of Just Talking, I still try to keep things unique enough. What do you think?

I’ve secured train tickets to Philadelphia for this year’s Scientific Sessions. I’ll be on the clock most of the time but if you’re going to be there, or will be in the area, please let me know. I’d love to hang out.

Finally, if you have a few dollars to spare, I could use some help with my Tour de Cure fundraising.

Complete thoughts and sentences will resume real soon. I promise.

  1. I’m going to say it annoys me when people have ALL their twitter thoughts posted in Facebook. I think they serve different purposes. The occasional cross-promotion is fine but I don’t want to hear about what you have for lunch every day on your Facebook feed.
