Too Good To Be True

I’m taking Dayle to see Jersey Boys tomorrow. Next month is the ballet. By the end of the year we’ll be flying around the world in a hot air balloon. Okay that last one isn’t true but this is the beginning of a fun trend of doing something that 1. we both will enjoy and 2. I wouldn’t normally do on my own. Musicals aren’t exactly my favorite pastime but the few I’ve gone to, admittedly, I’ve enjoyed. This should be fun.

In other news, we’ve added two more photos to our Wall of Fame. One from the night we first met, the other from her company holiday party. Candid shots are awesome. (Check out the full size image to see what we have so far.)

I’ve also spent an extraordinary amount of time mapping out the logistics of cutting the cable cord. If this works it will make for one hell of a blog post. I still have some number crunching to do – which includes finding out how much my early termination fee will be. Thanks Comcast, you’re swell.

Enjoy your weekend.

  1. I got rid of my DVR because there is an app for that (basically every channel has an app or a way to watch their episodes online) but I just can’t imagine not having cable.
