Photo Opportunity

Admittedly I’m still considering asking Santa for a DSLR for Christmas. It’s a bit of a financial investment but I am confident that I would put it to good use. I have no doubt future-puppy will provide plenty if photo opportunities as well.

Fun fact: I was part of the Yearbook Club in 8th grade. Not quite official Yearbook staff but I was credited with a few side photos in the final book. I really enjoyed that photography class and club participation.

For now my main camera is my phone. Which reminds me that I need to do a serious photo purge for my Flickr page. I’m pretty sure there’s an auto-upload setting on this phone somewhere. Anyway, here are a few highlights from the lens of the Bionic.

This ad has been part of the 'Express' Newspaper (handed out to Metro riders) for the past couple of weeks. I'm guessing this thing is currently playing 'Bloody Mary' from Lady Gaga. Or maybe something from 'My Bloody Valentine'

My dad is cleaning out some back rooms in the basement. I found some pretty sweet memories including a ticket to Cal Ripken Jr.'s last game

Out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope.

  1. Amalas – I have the Canon T2i and love it. It’s a nice middle ground for DSLR before you get into the thousands. Chris, for puppies and kids it’s almost a must to have a DSLR because the shutter speed is so fast and you have many options: we have extra flash, a few lenses for distance, etc.
