Sometimes I take all of this technology for granted. Not just the continuous glucose monitor, the blood glucose meter (or the fact that my insurance isn’t out to deny everything). Obviously we live in a world where the Internet is not a luxury, it’s a resource. Sure, there are debates going on about network neutrality and 4G wifi whosits, but at it’s core the Internet is just as vital to my health as most of the other tools I use to manage this disease.
Without the Internet I wouldn’t have the support structure in place that I do now to help me through the rough spots. Admittedly I probably spent too much time goofing around on here, but there is also a real value to the interactions that take place on this digital landscape. And I am, and will continue to be eternally grateful for all of you, and all you’ve done.
Back at you!
