And so on and so forth. But the real meaning of Christmas…I mean today, is that it’s important to take a breath and embrace the components of our lives that don’t included a malfunctioning pancreas. Yes, we’ll still go on with our daily management, but that doesn’t mean that we have to be hyper-focused 24/7. Taking this day is a small step in a quest for sanity. Making sure to set aside time for non-mellitus purposes should be just as much a part of the routine as checking blood glucose.
