The DC Area finally got its first legitimate snowfall of the winter. Of course this came with a 5+ hour commute home for my dad and dozens of cars unable to climb icy hills in Arlington, but at least there was thunder snow!

I didn’t dissect his whole article, but it seemed pretty right on. Sounds like you guys got what we got a few weeks ago: cold, wet weather followed by a low pressure system. It’s the perfect scenario for having piles and piles of snow building up.
I miss the sun and its warmth. =(
