A great deal of my presence as a podcaster I owe to Mr. Vicious696 aka Parris Lilly. Parris was the first person I had on my podcast, way back on Episode 0. He’s always been available for a quick chat when I was looking for guidance in dealing with podcasting, video games, or life. Oddly enough, if you ever talk to Parris it’s only a matter of time before you’ll get a Voltron reference out of him. For whatever reason, the dude is obsessed.

So you can imagine my surprise when Google Reader showed off a USB drive in the form of Voltron a couple weeks before Christmas.

I try not to make this blog a self-congradulatory cycle of doom, but there are so few moments when the planets align like this that they must be celebrated. I ordered USB Voltron and had it sent out to California as a token of my appreciation of his mentorship and more importantly his friendship. Parris sent me a picture of the two Voltrons last week and I would like to share it with you.
