Interesting Angles

February 25, 2010

I admit, today’s post is filler. It’s not that I’m not motivated to write anything, or that I don’t have anything to write about. Believe me, I have both. But I didn’t have the time to clear my head and focus on one particular post-worthy thought. So…I’m stalling. While I sit here and figure out how else I can say ‘I got nothin’ I’m looking at March and realizing that there will be lots of madness for me, even without that basketball tournament. I have a very important meeting with Not House to start the month of that might determine if I will be spending part of the spring looking for a new endocrinologist. There’s a weekend for cupcakes. Another for dodgeball. I’m going to Boston for 4 days. And I have a noteworthy wishlist of guests for my podcast I need to finalize.

To the title of this post, I have a habit of taking pictures of the most mundane things from some rather extreme angles.

How else am I supposed to make a picture of a pencil eye-popping? (Just don’t poke anyone with it)

Because this cheez-it looks a lot more appealing from the side.

Because you wouldn’t have guessed this pizza is thin crust.

Because from any other angle, these insulin pens are really boring.

Because everyone stacks cans of empty soda.

Because everyone cracks the screen to their iPod by sitting on it for an extended period of time.

Because I think that most of the things I experience day to day are not interesting enough for a straight shot.

Click any of these photos to check out the rest of my 365 (to date)

(Or maybe I should tilt the rest of the world and look at it my own way)

You know? I would like to taste a Coke One – too bad the government idiots down here decided to void Coke Zero, so no other flavor (appart from the Classic & Diet ones) are available…

I used to angle all my soda cans like that at lunch in middle and high school. though I also used to see how many grapes I could stuff in my mouth at once…
