Homework
As you hopefully heard yesterday, Tabatha is almost as excited as I am for my future living arrangements. Whenever I find a place that a. I like and 2. can afford, there might be a new frequent topic to bring up on this blog. Since Diabetes was never the only topic of choice here, it shouldn’t be that big of a deal for my readers. Of course the way things are going, I’ll likely abandon this blog before anything tangible occurs on the homefront. Ok, I’m not quitting this thing any time soon and I never expected finding a place to live to be easy, but each place I look at that is worth any kind of consideration has an offer locked up before I get home to think about it.
So while the home effort is still waiting to get off the ground, it’s always good to be prepared. To that point, my once and future home decorator has given me a bi-weekly homework assignment. I am to scour some of her preferred home design blogs…and occasionally IKEA.com for stuff that catches my eye. Not stuff that I specifically want, nothing that I have to have now, just things that I think might work if I become blessed with a mortgage payment.
I invite you to join me, or I guess start your own quest to home decor nirvana by adding desiretoinspire.net to your blog reader of choice.
Here’s another one to check out. The homepage is a bit more global but they drill down to specific areas, lucky for me Washington DC is one of them.
If you have any other blogs that might be beneficial to my future home, let me know. Of course they will have to be vetted by Tabatha, but it’s worth a shot right?
I’m trying to remove myself from the rut of indecisiveness that has ruled my life for quite some time. It feels like a go-to response that “I don’t know what I want”. Sadly that applies to more than just looking for a home. I have a lot of growing up to do, hopefully this home thing will help move my life in general in a more positive and decisive direction. Sorry to get all real on you all, but I have a lot on my mind. Most of which cannot be aired out here so I have to stick with vague phrases and sweeping generalizations.
Sorry.
PS. I’m still updating my Diabetes365 photos. Still. Check the flickr widget on the right to see what I’ve been up to lately. I’ll give you a hint, it starts with M and ends with odern Warfare 2.

Good luck on finding the things you need to make your soon to be house a home.
Good luck with the home purchase. You want it, so you’ll find a way to make things work out. What’s the housing market like in DC?
Tabatha gave you a homework assignment? Nice. You go woman.
Good luck. It will all work out. Stay positive.
