Honestly, the feel is as raw now as when he was diagnosed his Freshman year in college. However, ever since he could communicate he has “run” our family. My mom knows about my knitting blog – every so often she tells me she’s been reading it and I always feel a slight wave of panic about what I may have written that she wouldn’t approve of. (It’s not 100% about knitting – most yarn stories aren’t all that shocking – LOL). She still doesn’t really know about my diabetes blog though. Not sure I’m ready to have her lurking there.

I haven’t told my parents about my blog either. Honestly for me it’s because sometimes I need to vent…. and it’s about them! LOL My mom has a way of rubbing me the wrong way without realizing it and if I write about it on my blog, I don’t want her to read about it and have her feelings hurt. So my blog is mine, my little secret shhhhh :)

As for whoring yourself out….. ya seriously, you are getting out of control on twitter, I mean do you have to show all that??? I mean that part of your…. Oh hi Chris’ mom and dad!!!! LOL just kidding. Keep up the great work Chris and good for you that you feel comfortable having your parents read your blog :)
